Ulster County Bears

Ulster County Bears organizations is hosting their first event at The OUT Bar. This event brings together the bears, otters, cubs, and wolves!! No, we don't mean the fuzzy animals you may see in the woods. We are talking about the types of labels this men will portray at this event. Don't know the bear community community? It's 2012!! GOOGLE IT!

The OUT Bar, recently named "the only gay bar in Poughkeepsie," has brought the attention of the local gay community to be a safe, comfortable place for one to "let their hair down.' Events here have grown to become quite the venture for someone to get a good sense of the local 'gay' scene.

  2. I am actually part of the Hudson Valley. Since clearly you're familiar with Poughkeepsie, i can tell you i'm from Kingston and also live in Highland, and you'll know what i'm talking about. So i'm always in Poughkeepsie. I have to check this place out. I've never heard of it. Have you been to Primetime? It's close. But this is great. Thanks for the heads up when i go home :)

  3. I've never heard the term "bear community" before! But that's a fun idea. I love that there are bars for specific organizations, groups of people, etc. But I worry that the under 21s in the community will feel excluded. On a side note, The Hudson Valley and Tri-State Region has seriously got to be the best place in the world. So proud to be from here!
